The Outdoor Range Complex at Camp Buffalo is a dominating feature of the camp. At the north end, we have our shotgun range boasting 5 shooting stations and an in-ground thrower. Just south of it and down the hill, we have an Muzzle-loader Range at which we offer the muzzle-loading option of the Rifle Shooting merit badge during summer camp. Next to the Muzzle-loader Range is our 50-Yard Rifle Range. This range has automatic target retrieval and is used for .22 rifles. The southern-most range is our 100-Yard Rifle Range, which poses a special challenge for older Scouts who have already completed many of our shooting merit badges.
